Four Broncos Named to 2025-26 NCAA Division I Cobalt Golf All-America Scholars List

BOISE, Idaho — Boise State men's golfers Luke Cushman, Chase Gorder, Ryan Meyer and Cole Rueck were named 2025-26 NCAA Division I Cobalt Golf All-America (CGAA) Scholars, it was announced on Monday.

To be eligible, student-athletes must be a sophomore, junior or senior, both academically and athletically. Additionally, all honorees must participate in at least 50 percent of their team's competitive rounds, have a stroke average under 76.0 and maintain a minimum cumulative career GPA of 3.2.

The 2025-26 Cobalt Scholars list consists of nearly 650 NCAA Division I student-athletes from more than 200 institutions. Eighty-one schools, including Boise State, had at least four recipients.

Cushman, a business administration major with a 3.95 overall GPA, played in nine team events in 2025-26. Recording a 72.96 scoring average across 27 rounds, Cushman finished in the top 10 once and was top 25 on three occasions.

Named a Cobalt Golf All-America Scholar for the first time in his collegiate career, Gorder currently has a 3.72 GPA as a kinesiology major. Appearing in eight events last year, Gorder registered a 72.04 scoring average and posted two top-25 finishes.

Completing his third season at Boise State last year, Meyer appeared in eight events, including all five during the fall season, and notched a 73.30 average per round. A psychology major with a 3.68 cumulative GPA, Meyer placed in the top 10 once.

Rueck, who capped his senior campaign with his third-consecutive All-Mountain West selection, produced a 69.70 average over 30 rounds, which is the second-best single-season mark in program history (min. 15 rounds). With a 3.69 GPA as a finance major, Rueck won two individual championships and posted seven top-10 finishes.
