BOISE STATE CAREER

2021-22: CROSS COUNTRY-
Was among Boise State’s top-three runners in each of the four races in which he appeared…garnered a top-10 finish in his season debut at the Bill Dellinger Invitational (Sept. 23)…placed 38th at the Nuttycombe Wisconsin Invitational (Oct. 15)… was the third member of the Blue and Orange to finish at the NCAA West Regional (Nov. 12), taking 18th…later earned him a berth to NCAA Nationals…one of three Broncos to compete at NCAA Nationals, finishing 230th…INDOOR- Did not compete…OUTDOOR- Raced in five meets…registered a PR time of 14:02.18 in the men’s 5,000m at the Stanford Invitational (April 1-2)...shattered the Boise State record in the 10,000m at the 62nd Annual Mt. SAC Relays (April 14-16), clocking a time of 28:45.65…competed in the 10,000m at the Mountain West Outdoor Track and Field Championships (May 11-14)...qualified for the NCAA West Preliminary Round (May 25-28) in the 10,000m, finishing 36th.

2020-21: CROSS COUNTRY- 
Appeared in the yellow (fast) race at the Silver State Challenge (Feb. 1)…INDOOR- Did not compete...OUTDOOR- Made first outdoor appearance in the 10,000-meters at the Hayward Premiere (April 2-3)...finished top-20 in the 5,000m at the Oregon Relays (April 23-24)...set a personal best in the 5,000m at the West Coast Relays (April 30), clocking a time of 14:26.49...earned the bronze medal at the Mountain West Championships (May 13-15) running in the 10,000m with a personal best time of 29:52.79.

2019-20: CROSS COUNTRY- Competed in all six meets the Bronco men attended…recorded his best finish of the season closing fifth at the Sagebrush Invitational…the fourth-fastest Bronco at the Bill Dellinger running a 24:15.5…ran the third-fastest scoring time for Boise State at the Nuttycombe Invitational…injuries limited Rees postseason performances…started all three postseason races…finished 41st at the NCAA West Regional...INDOOR- Did not compete…OUTDOOR- Season canceled due to coronavirus pandemic.

PRIOR TO BOISE STATE
Graduated from St. Leonard’s in Scotland…received his undergraduate degree from Edinburgh University in Scotland…Scottish Junior Mountain Running Champion from 2009-13 and again in 2016…Scottish Junior 5k Road Race Champion in 2016…Scottish Junior 10k Road Race Champion in 2017…Scottish Senior Trail Race Champion in 2017…top-ranked Scottish and British U23 for the 10k road in 2017.
