Boise State Notes | NIU Notes The Boise State football team will make its 14th-consecutive bowl appearance, traveling to San Diego to square off against Northern Illinois of the Mid-American Conference in the 2015 San Diego County Credit Union Poinsettia Bowl, Dec. 23.
The Poinsettia Bowl will mark the first meeting between the Broncos and Huskies, who went 8-5 this season, falling in the Marathon MAC Football Championship Game after winning the league's West Division. The matchup in San Diego will pit the top two Group of Five programs over this decade, as the Huskies (65 wins) and Broncos (63) rank first and second, respectively, in wins among all such teams since 2010.
