Appleton Tennis Center


 

The Appleton Tennis Center serves as the home of Boise State tennis (men and women) during the outdoor portion of their seasons.

  • Located on the east side of campus next to ExtraMile Arena
  • Opened in the summer of 2002 and seats 1,200 fans
  • The majority of the funds for the $2 million facility were donated by the late Steve Appleton, a Boise State tennis alum and prominent Boise-area businessman  
  • In 2002 the center received the Outstanding Tennis Facility Award from the United States Tennis Association
  • Since its opening in 2002, the facility has hosted several conference championship tournaments, as well as the first and second rounds of the 2005 NCAA Men’s Tennis Championships.
