Boise State Athletics is embarking on a journey to find the next head coach of its storied football program. Bronco Nation is invited to follow along as director of athletics Jeramiah Dickey leads the search committee through the process of finding the right person to guide the Broncos into the next era of college football, including the expanded College Football Playoff beginning next season.
Even with this effort to provide unprecedented transparency to Bronco Nation around the coaching search, it is imperative to maintain confidentiality for all candidates. We will not share or confirm identifiable information until we have come to terms with the next head coach.

Jeramiah Dickey announced Spencer Danielson as the next head coach of the Boise State football program. Read the full story here.
Danielson's appointment was announced to Boise State's football student-athletes in a team meeting before the news was made public. The team's reaction was shared on social media.
A video recap of the search process with additional insight will be released in the coming weeks.
Tuesday, Nov. 28 - 2:21 p.m.
Jeramiah Dickey and the search committee have held in-person meetings with each candidate who was identified as a finalist. That insight and more of Jeramiah's thought process can be seen and heard in the latest video update.
With Boise State football preparing for the Mountain West Championship this weekend, all energy and effort of the team, staff and administration turns toward winning a title. No additional updates on the search process will be made prior to the game.

The committee is expected to meet with multiple candidates in the next 48 hours.
In the meantime, the most important metrics and data points will be revealed in the morning as the Broncos seek a league-leading seventh appearance in the Mountain West Football Championship.

The search committee has met with multiple candidates in person and will be home in time for Thanksgiving and a huge game at Albertsons Stadium Friday. Tickets are going fast with a spot in the Mountain West Championship on the line.
The theme of the first meetings has evoked a lot of passion for the job. The Boise State football brand resonates at all levels of college football and the way Bronco Nation has continued to show up this season speaks volumes about what we have to offer.
Wednesday, Nov. 22 - 9:56 a.m.
Boise State director of athletics Jeramiah Dickey has spent the past eight days holding initial conversations with candidates for the Broncos' football head coach position, recruiting top targets into the finalist pool. In-person interviews with finalists begin this week, at neutral sites in order to maintain confidentiality.
Dickey also revealed the four-member search committee he has tasked with finding Boise State's next football coach:
