Athletics Event Services
Boise State Athletics Guest Services and Operations is currently seeking students to work our home varsity events for the summer and through the 2026-2027 school year. This will provide a great opportunity to make some extra income while supporting our amazing fan base and teams!
Job Summary
- Work in cooperation with our full-time athletics staff, BEST Security, ticketing and Department of Public Safety (DPS).
- Provide a smooth experience for fans on game days.
Marketing & Fan Experience Intern (Summer)
The summer Marketing & Fan Experience Internship provides students with the opportunity to play a key role in building excitement for the upcoming Boise State Athletics season. Interns will serve as ambassadors for Boise State Athletics during summer orientation programs and community events while assisting the marketing team in preparing for the upcoming athletic year. For the summer opportunity, interested applicants do not have to be a Boise State student. They may be a student at another university or college.
Job Summary
- Represent Boise State Athletics during new student orientation programs and engage incoming students about the upcoming athletic seasons.
- Help create excitement around the 2026-27 Broncos athletic season.
- Assist with fan engagement initiatives and promotional activations during orientation events.
- Participate in community outreach events to promote Boise State Athletics within the Treasure Valley.
- Support the marketing staff in planning promotional calendars, student engagement initiatives, and game day activations for the upcoming season.
- Assist with the preparation and distribution of marketing materials and promotional assets.
- Serve as a brand ambassador for Boise State Athletics at all assigned events.
- Help develop the Buster’s Kids Club for the upcoming season.
Marketing & Fan Experience Intern (2026-27 School Year)
The Marketing & Fan Experience Internship focuses on fan engagement, grassroots marketing, and game day energy. Street Team interns will help build excitement for Boise State Athletics events through on-campus promotions, community outreach, and serving as members of the Broncos hype team during athletic events.
Job Summary
- Help promoting upcoming athletic events across campus and the community.
- Distribute promotional materials and interact with students to encourage attendance at Boise State athletic events.
- Assist with grassroots marketing efforts including tabling events, campus activations, and community appearances.
- Participate as part of the game day hype team, helping create an energetic atmosphere during athletic events.
- Support in-game promotions, contests, and fan engagement activities.
- Assist marketing staff with event setup, promotions, and fan experience activations.
- Help amplify Boise State Athletics messaging through peer engagement and campus outreach.
Ticketing
The Ticketing Intern will support the athletics ticket office in generating revenue through proactive outbound sales efforts and delivering high-quality customer service to fans and donors. This role provides hands-on experience in sports sales, relationship management, and ticket operations within a collegiate athletics environment.
Job Summary
- Conduct outbound calls to prospective and existing customers to promote ticket packages and Bronco Athletic Association memberships.
- Front line customer service - sales & service staff are often the first to communicate with our customers and donors.
- Ticketmaster account management - selling tickets, processing payments, updating billing information, and gathering general information to best serve customers.
- Assist with the execution of BAA donor events over the course of the summer.
- General assistance - each day provides its own set of unique challenges and responsibilities. All personnel are expected to help in whatever way they can when these situations arise.
