BOISE STATE CAREER
SENIOR (2021): Played in all 12 games, making one start…led all Broncos with nine touchdowns…recorded 233 yards rushing, averaging 3.0 yards per carry, and caught seven passes for 28 yards…rushed for multiple touchdowns against UTEP (Sept. 10) and at Fresno State (Nov. 6)…ran for a season-high 60 yards at BYU (Oct. 9).

JUNIOR (2020): Played in all seven games, starting the last five....ran for 21 yards and a touchdown, and caught a pass for 10 yards, against Utah State (Oct. 24)...scored a pair of touchdowns on the ground, finishing with 70 yards on 12 carries at Air Force (Oct. 31)...scored on a pair of one-yard touchdown runs against Colorado State (Nov. 12)...posted his first-career 100-yard game, going for 113 yards on 27 carries with two touchdowns at Hawai'i (Nov. 21).

SOPHOMORE (2019): Appeared in all 14 games...ran 62 times for 265 yards and two scores...caught eight passes for 47 yards and another touchdown...ran five times for 19 yards and caught two passes for seven yards at Florida State (Aug. 31)...ran for a six-yard touchdown at UNLV (Oct. 5)...set a career high with 85 yards on nine carries, including a 32-yard touchdown run, at San José State (Nov. 2)...ran for 33 yards and caught an eight-yard touchdown pass against New Mexico (Nov. 16)...ran for 48 yards, caught a pass for 12 yards at Utah State (Nov. 23).

FRESHMAN (2018): Saw action in 12 games...made his collegiate debut in season opener at Troy, rushing once for four yards (Sept. 1)...carried 13 times for 75 yards and a touchdown against UConn (Sept. 8)...ran for 28 yards on three carries at Wyoming (Sept. 29)...scored his second touchdown of the season while rushing for 23 yards on five carries at New Mexico (Nov. 16).

HIGH SCHOOL CAREER
Three-star running back recruit according to ESPN, 247sports, Rivals...ranked the 38th-best running back in the class nationally, 77th-best recruit in California...rushed for 1,259 yards on 224 carries in 11 games for 21 touchdowns as a senior in 2017, as he was named the Mission League Offensive MVP, leading the Eagles to the Mission League title...as a junior he rushed for 542 yards on 90 carries with 11 touchdowns in 12 games and was named to the All-Mission League First Team...in 2015 as a sophomore he rushed for 404 yards on 71 carries in 11 games for five touchdowns...for his career, Van Buren rushed for 2,205 yards on 385 carries in 34 games, averaging 5.7 yards per carry and 37 touchdowns.
