Matt Fleischacker
Matt Fleischacker joined the Boise State coaching staff in January 2024. He is currently the assistant linebackers coach.
 
In his first season with the Broncos, he helped the team win the Mountain West championship, reach the College Football Playoff for the first time in program history, and finish the season ranked No. 8 in the country.
 
During the 2023 season, he was the linebackers coach with the Seattle Sea Dragons of the XFL. The team finished second in the North Division and reached the XFL Playoffs.
 
Prior to the XFL, Fleischacker spent two seasons at Hobart. He shared the defensive coordinator duties in 2021, helping the team win the ECAC Bushnell Bowl that season, and then served as the outside linebackers coach in 2022.
 
Fleischacker has also spent time at Mercer as the outside linebackers coach (2019), Penn State as a graduate assistant (2017-18), and App State as a graduate assistant (2016).
 
Fleischacker started his collegiate coaching career in Happy Valley. From 2014 through 2016, he was a student assistant linebackers coach. Fleischacker earned a bachelor's degree in accounting from Penn State in 2016.
