Brandon Voigt joined Boise State Sports Medicine as an assistant athletic trainer in 2005 and currently works with the women's soccer program. Voigt previously spent time at Boise State as a graduate assistant. He is one of Boise State's most veteran staff members.
Voigt, originally from Prairie City, Ore., came to Boise State as a graduate assistant in 2001 to work with wrestling and football after earning a bachelor's degree at Oregon State. During his graduate assistantship at Boise State, Voigt earned a master's degree in athletic administration through Idaho State.
Following graduate school Voigt became the head athletic trainer at Vallivue High School in Caldwell, Idaho. He returned to Boise State in 2005 as an assistant athletic trainer working with track and field and football. In 2007, Brandon began working with women's soccer. He has also been the athletic trainer for men's basketball.
Voigt has been a certified member of the National Athletic Trainers' Association since 2001, and a licensed athletic trainer in the state of Idaho since 2003. He serves on the Ethnic Diversity committee for the Mountain West Athletic Trainers' Committee as well as a clinical instructor for Boise State's Athletic Training program.
During his free time Voigt enjoys being a below-average golfer, where he has yet to prove as any sort of competition for fellow staff member Keita Shimada.
Voigt married his wife, the former Allison Buck, in 2020. She is currently the head coach of the Boise State beach volleyball team. The couple lives in Boise.
