2015-16: CROSS COUNTRY - Ran in two meets over the course of the year…took ninth at the Utah Open thanks to a 4k time of 15:41.2…13th at the Utah State Invitational after running a 18:25.0 on the 5k course...INDOOR - Competed in mainly the 800m and the mile…opened the year at the Jacksons Open and helped the 4x400m relay team take fifth with a time of 4:15.90…best finish of the season came at the Ed Jacoby Invite with the DMR team, where they finished third after clocking a 12:58.93…ran a 5:28.74 mile at the same meet…12th at the Bronco Invite in the 800m (2:22.52)…eighth at the Jacksons/NB Invitational (2:20.97)…enjoyed her fastest 800m of the year at the Boise State Challenge, taking seventh with a 2:20.83...OUTDOOR - Competed in the 1,500m in two meets over the course of her first outdoor season…ran a career-best 4:47.37 at the Stanford Twilight to take 30th…was 13th at the Border Clash (4:53.19).

PREP: Recorded three different top-five finishes her junior year at the NIAA State Championships: fifth place in the 800m, third place in the 1,600m and third place in the 3,200m...as a senior, Jones finished fourth individually in the state cross country championships and helped her team win the state title...at the track and field championships she took sixth in both the 3,200m and the 800m, seventh in the 1,600m and third in the 4x800m...made honor roll during her freshman, junior and senior years...also competed in gymnastics in high school...intends to major in mass communication and political science.
