Nia Jackson
Nia Jackson joined the Bronco staff as assistant coach in June 2020.

Jackson spent the past two seasons (2018-20) at Oregon, her alma mater, serving as the team’s director of creativity, a role which included video coordinator duties, camp staging, and promotion.

In Jackson’s two years on staff, the Ducks went a combined 64-7 overall and reached the 2019 Final Four. Oregon captured back-to-back Pac-12 regular-season titles and the conference tournament crown in 2020, while going 33-3 in conference play.

Prior to returning to Eugene, Jackson was on the Loyola Marymount women’s basketball staff for four years. She was the program’s director of operations for three seasons before being promoted to assistant coach for the 2017-18 campaign. The Lions improved their win total in each of the four seasons in which Jackson was on staff, culminating with a 19-11 record in 2017-18.

Jackson spent five years as a player at Oregon (2007-12), being named to the All-Pac-12 Team in 2010-11 and being named the team’s MVP following both her junior and senior campaigns. She is part of Oregon’s 1,000-Point Club, finishing her career with 1,007 points, and still ranks in the program’s top 10 in career assists (355) and steals (204).

Jackson graduated from Oregon in 2012 with a degree in sociology, and played professionally in Finland for the 2012-13 season.
