George Hicks III joined the Boise State football coaching staff in February 2025 as offensive quality control/assistant wide receivers coach.
A former defensive back for Washington State from 2017-21, Hicks spent two seasons as a graduate assistant working with the defensive backs at his alma mater from 2023-24.
In his five seasons playing for the Cougars, he appeared in 46 games and totaled 127 tackles, two interceptions and three forced fumbles. He helped lead Washington State to four bowl games.
He graduated from Washington State in 2021 with a bachelor's degree in political science.Â
