Jabril Frazier returned to his alma mater as a defensive graduate assistant in 2020 and has served as the EDGE coach since 2023.

Frazier has played a key role in the development of all-conference first team EDGE rushers Ahmed Hassanein and Jayden Virgin-Morgan in his first two years coaching the position. Hassanein ranked sixth in the country in sacks in 2023 and then tied for 16th as a senior in 2024. Virgin-Morgan, meanwhile, had a career-high 10.0 sacks in his redshirt sophomore season in 2024, which were tied for 14th-best in the nation.

As a team, Boise State was first in the country in sacks in 2024 with 55.0. In TFLs, the Broncos were seventh (111.0). Both totals helped Boise State win its second straight Mountain West championship and secure a spot in the College Football Playoff Quarterfinal at the Vrbo Fiesta Bowl.

In his Bronco career, as a coach and student-athlete, Frazier has been a part of four Boise State conference-championship winning teams (2014, 2017 as a player; 2023, 2024 as a coach).

A two-time All-Mountain West honoree, including a first-team selection as a redshirt senior in 2018, Frazier made 28 starts in his four years with the Broncos as a STUD. He recorded 18 career sacks among his 24.5 tackles for loss.

Frazier notched four tackles (three solo) and one pass break up in a victory over Fresno State in the 2017 Mountain West Championship. He averaged over five tackles per game during his last six contests of his senior season.

Following his Boise State career, he signed a free agent contract and took part in training camp with the New York Jets in 2019.
