Marc Paul has served as the Associate Athletic Director for Sports Performance, Health and Wellness since August 2008. Paul oversees all aspects of sports medicine care, as well as sports performance, nutrition and mental health for Bronco student-athletes. In addition to his duties, Paul serves on the senior staff team.
Before joining the Broncos, Paul was the head athletic trainer at his alma mater, Nevada, working primarily with the football, rifle and golf programs.
Originally from Fallon, Nev., Paul earned his undergraduate degree in Health Sciences from the University of Nevada and Master’s degree in Rehabilitative Science from Clarion University where he worked as a graduate assistant in the Department of Athletics for the Golden Eagles.
Following his time at Clarion, Paul returned to Nevada where he worked at Nevada Physical Therapy on the University campus, then as an assistant athletic trainer taking care of Nevada's football, swimming and diving, men's basketball and baseball programs.
He was named interim head athletic trainer nearly a year later before being named to the position permanently, a position he held for eight years.
Paul has served on various committees throughout his career at the local, state and national levels, including the Idaho State Board of Athletic Trainers, the NATA Intercollegiate Council for Sports Medicine and the NCAA's Committee on Competitive Safeguards and Medical Aspects of Sports. Â
Paul and his wife, Tami, have a son, Colbi, and daughter, Kennedi.
