Max Teems, who is entering his second season as a full-time member of the men's basketball staff in 2026-27, serves as director of video operations & program logistics. Prior to his full-time promotion on Sept. 8, 2025, Teems spent five years (2020-25) at Boise State as a student manager and graduate assistant.
In his new role, Teems manages and oversees all aspects of video operations for men’s basketball, including film breakdown and distribution. Additionally, he coordinates and prepares opponent scouting reports and game plans, and assists in all recruiting efforts.
With the use of an iPad, Teems was a trusted advisor to head coach Leon Rice on all in-game replay challenges. His swift use of technology and overall success rate played a pivotal role for Boise State in numerous games.
Prior to being promoted, Teems performed various roles for men’s basketball while completing his undergraduate and graduate degrees at Boise State. He was the head student manager for three seasons (2020-23) before working as the team’s video coordinator from 2023-25.
A key contributor to 138 victories since joining the Broncos, Teems graduated from Boise State on two occasions. He earned his bachelor’s degree in interdisciplinary studies in May 2023 before garnering his master’s degree in athletic leadership in 2025.
