BOISE STATE TENURE (2024-Present)

Shauna Heffernan brings elite international and championship-level experience to the program. A three-time Team Ireland representative at the Billie Jean King Cup (2021, 2022, 2024), Heffernan has translated her success as a player into impactful coaching at the collegiate level. She served on the coaching staff during the Mountain West Tournament Championship in 2025, the NCAA Individual Championships in 2024, and the NCAA Team Championship when the team defeated No. 22 Baylor and advanced to the second round. Heffernan also coached on the clinching court in the Mountain West Conference Tournament semifinal and final, as well as the NCAA First Round. As a student-athlete, she earned All-Mountain West honors in doubles and was recognized for excellence in the classroom as a four-time ITA and Mountain West Scholar-Athlete (2021-2024).
