BOISE STATE UNVEILS NEW ATHLETIC WEB SITE

BOISE, Idaho The name will remain the same, www.broncosports.com, but the look is different as Boise State University unveils a complete new look to its athletic department web site today (Wednesday, August 9) at Noon.
“One of the key windows for Bronco athletics to reach fans, donors, alumni and prospective student-athletes is through our web site,” Gene Bleymaier,
While the same type of information, live statistics and photos regarding Broncos athletics will once be available, the web site will now include new audio and video capabilities, an online auction site similar to eBay and greater ease for online purchasing of Bronco merchandise.

Boise State football games scheduled to be broadcast live this year on Bronco Vision include Sacramento State (Aug .31), Hawai’i (Sept. 23), Louisiana Tech (Oct. 7),
The premium subscription service will guarantee anyone wishing to watch a Bronco game on www.broncosports.com will be able to see the broadcast. Because the video service was free last year, only 400 connections were able to be made at one time. The subscription service will also allow you to access XOS’s 24 hour customer service center if you are having difficulties connecting the live games.
All home men and women’s basketball games, and selected home Bronco events will be seen live on Bronco Vision. The audio for the football and men’s basketball games will be provided by KBOI radio. Audio for women’s basketball games will be provided by KBSU radio.
The online auctions will be updated on a weekly basis. Among the items available the first week will include a football autographed by the 2006 freshmen class, a mini helmet autographed by head football coach Chris Petersen.
