BOISE, Idaho - Boise State leads Hawaii at the half 27-14. Scoring early for the Broncos was Ian Johnson with a 3-yard run. Then Legedu Naanee caught a 6-yard TD pass from Jared Zabransky, for the PAT attempt holder Kyle Stinger took the snap and ran it in for a 2-point conversion to make it 15-0.
In the second quarter Hawaii quarterback Colt Brennan connected with Jason Rivers for a 26-yard TD. Boise State came right back with a 23-yard TD pass from Zabransky to tight end Derek Schouman, and Hawaii marched right back down the field with a 11-yard TD from Brennan to Devon Bess with 2:08 left in the half. Then just before halftime Bronco kicker Anthony Montgomery kicked a 32-yard field goal to make it 27-14.
