The conference award also marks the fourth straight week a Bronco player has earned the honor.
Linebacker Colt Brooks (defense) and punter Kyle Stringer (special teams) won the award following Boise State’s 45-0 win over Sacramento State on August 31, Johnson (offense) and returner Quinton Jones (special teams) earned the honor following the Oregon State game and Jones (defense) and Stringer (special teams) after the Broncos’ 17-10 win at the University of Wyoming.
