BRONCOS BEGIN SPRING FOOTBALL DRILLS ON MONDAY (March 12)

BOISE, Idaho – Spring football practice for 2007 Tostitos Fiesta Bowl Champion Boise State University Broncos begins on Monday (March 12). The five-time defending Western Athletic Conference Champions will practice for two weeks from March 12 to March 23 (Friday), take one week off for spring break (March 26-30) before coming back for two more weeks of practice from April 2 (Monday) to April 13 (Friday).
The first time the Broncos will practice in full pads will be on March 16 (Friday), with the team’s first spring scrimmage on March 23 (Friday). Boise State will hold another scrimmage on April 6 (Friday), with the annual spring game on April 13 to close out spring drills. All practices and scrimmages will start at 3:30 p.m. The spring game will start at 6:00 p.m.
The practices will be held on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday of each week, with the exception of the third week of drills. That week the Broncos will practice on Tuesday (April 3), Wednesday (April 4) and Friday (April 6). The Boise State coaching staff will hold its annual Women’s Clinic on Thursday (April 5) of that week at the Caven-Williams Sports Complex.
