Gingg Earns Camper of the Day Honor

BOISE, Idaho For the 10th day of the 2007 Boise State Fall Camp head coach Chris Petersen has selected Kyle Gingg as the Camper of the Day for his outstanding efforts throughout practice.

“Kyle Gingg is doing a very nice job for us,” said coach Petersen. “Linebacker is a very physical, tough position and he is out here everyday getting better and being a leader on the defense. I have been very impressed with his progress.”

Gingg, a 5’11”, 220 lbs., junior linebacker from Phoenix, Ariz., was a co-starter on the 2006 Boise State team. He finished the season 31st in the Western Athletic Conference and fourth on the team with 50 tackles. He also posted four tackles for loss, 2.5 sacks, two pass break ups and a forced fumble.
