Broncos Debut in Top Five in ESPN Preseason Rankings

BOISE, Idaho – The Boise State football team was ranked No. 5 in the ESPN College Football Live Preseason Top 25, announced Friday on ESPN College Football Live.
The Broncos trailed Oklahoma (No. 1), Alabama (No. 2), Oregon (No. 3) and LSU (No. 4) in the poll.
Boise State entered the 2010 season ranked No. 3 in the Associated Press Poll and No. 5 in the USA Today Coaches’ Poll, reaching as high as No. 2 in each.
Boise State is slated to open the 2011 season against Georgia in the Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game, Sept. 3. Kickoff is scheduled for 6 p.m. (MT) at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta, Ga., and the game will be televised by ESPN.
