Yesterday we featured a former Super Bowl champion in defensive tackle Kimo von Oelhoffen, who was part of the Pittsburgh Steelers' Super Bowl XL team. We have another one today...
Daryn Colledge is entering his third season with the Arizona Cardinals, and spent 2006-10 with the Green Bay Packers, where he was a part of their Super Bowl XLV championship squad.
Colledge didn't miss a game at Boise State, and he has played in every game since being drafted by the Packers in the second round of the 2006 National Football League Draft - 171 consecutive games in college and the pros, including the postseason.
While with the Packers, College started 76-of-80 games, and since joining the Cardinals, he is the only lineman to start each of the team's 32 games the last two seasons.
His streak of 112-consecutive games in the NFL is tied for the third-longest by a lineman.
Colledge joined Boise State from North Pole, Alaska, where he was an all-state honoree on both offense and defense - and as a punter - at North Pole High School.
His first action with the Broncos came in 2002 as a redshirt freshman, and he started all 13 games at left tackle en route to third-team All-America honors from The Sporting News. The Broncos led the nation in scoring (45.62) and total offense (501.46) that season, a trend that would continue throughout his collegiate career.
He earned second-team All-Western Athletic Conference honors as a redshirt sophomore in 2003, as the Broncos once again led the nation in scoring at 43.0 points per game.
As a redshirt junior in 2004, he earned his first of two-straight first-team all-league honors, leading an offensive line that paved the way for an average of 48.9 points per game - the second-highest mark in the country.
In his final season Colledge ran his streak of consecutive starts to 52, and earned the Broncos' Outstanding Offensive Lineman Award for a third-consecutive season. Boise State finished eighth in the country in scoring (37.3), and Colledge was once again a major part of that equation.
As the No. 47 selection of the NFL Draft, Colledge became the highest draft selection in the history of the state of Alaska, and just the eighth all-time from the state.

Three days to go until Boise State kicks off the 2013 season against Washington...
Here are some facts and figures relating to No. 3:
...Coach Pete has won THREE national coach of the year awards. He was named the 2010 Bobby Dodd Coach of the Year, and is the only two-time (2006 and 2009) winner of the Paul "Bear" Bryant Coach of the Year Award.
...Boise State threw just THREE interceptions in 2009 - in 458 attempts. That set the NCAA record for lowest interception rate all-time.
...Opponents are averaging just 15.74 points per game the last three seasons, the THIRD-BEST mark in the country. Only Alabama (10.87) and LSU (15.69) have allowed fewer points per game the last three seasons.
...Boise State begins the 2013 season with the THIRD-BEST all-time record among NCAA Football Bowl Subdivision teams. The Broncos all-time record at the four-year level is 388-148-2, a winning percentage of .723. Michigan leads the list with an all-time record of 903-315-36 (.734), followed by Notre Dame at 865-301-42 (.733).
