PRINCEVILLE, Hawai'i - Boise State sophomore men's golfer David Elliott is two strokes back of the top 25 after the first round of the Warrior Princeville Makai Invitational, leading the Broncos in the final event of the fall season.

Elliott finished the round even-par at the par-72, 7,223 yard Princeville Makai Golf Club at the St. Regis Princeville Resort, recording five birdies total.

Boise State carded a team score of 293 (+5) and will enter the second round in 12th place. 11th ranked Georgia Tech leads the event after firing a 16-under 272.

Sophomore Kyle Mitsunaga completed the first round 1-over, three strokes back from the top 25.

Rounding out the scoring for the Broncos were senior Ty Travis (74, +2), junior Logan France (74, +2) and freshman Tristan Rohrbaugh (75, +3).

Boise State is scheduled to begin teeing off for the second round Tuesday at 12:30 p.m. (MT).
