PALO ALTO, Calif. — Collectively shooting an 878 (+38), Boise State men's golf concluded The Goodwin, a three-day event at Stanford Golf Course, in 27th place.
 
Spanning the first 36 holes, the Broncos carded a 298 and 293 for a 591 two-round score. Putting together a stronger performance on Day 3, Boise State shot 287, besting its second-round total by six strokes.
 
Individually, Cole Rueck led the team and fired a 212. In a field of 160 golfers, Rueck shot 2-over par and concluded the tournament tied for 44th.
 
Joining Rueck in the top 100 was Luke Cushman, who carded a 219 (+9) and tied for 97th. Gavyn Knight (224, +14) ended the event in a tie for 127th, while Chase Gorder (226, +16) and Reese Knox (226, +16) were tied at 138.
 
Up next is the Genesis Collegiate Showcase, which was originally scheduled for Feb. 16, but postponed due to inclement weather. Taking place on April 2, the Broncos will send Rueck, the defending champion in back-to-back years, and Knight to Riviera Country Club to represent the program.
 
As a team, Boise State will return to the course on April 6-7 in the UC Santa Barbara Intercollegiate. This will be the Broncos' final regular season tournament.
