BOISE, Idaho - The 2014 National Football League Combine is right around the corner. Three days from now, at Lucas Oil Field in Indianapolis, the top college players will work out and interview for four days in front of NFL scouts. Boise State will have three former players at the combine this year.

Defensive end Demarcus Lawrence decided to forgo his senior season and enter the draft. He is a two-time first-team All-Mountain West selection and led the MW this past season with 20.5 tackles-for-loss. He is scheduled to go through drills with the defensive linemen and linebackers on Monday. According to NFL.com, at 6-foot-3, 245 pounds, he is an explosive athlete who would fit right in as a 4-3 right defensive end or 3-4 rush linebacker.

Switching to the other side of the ball, offensive linemen Charles Leno, Jr. and Matt Paradis will begin workouts on Saturday with the tight ends, offensive linemen and specialists. Leno, a tackle, and Paradis, a center, have been key contributors and leaders for the Broncos the past several seasons.

Leno was first-team All-MW selection in 2013 and was named second-team in 2012. According to NFL.com, Leno is a long-armed left tackle who is most suited for a zone-blocking scheme at the next level. Teams may be looking at him to move inside and play guard as well, because he is so dominant in run blocking and moving to the next level of the defense.

Paradis started 27 of each of the team's 35 games played at Boise State. He was a 2013 second-team All MW selection after starting games at center. In 2012, he was a first-team all-league selection. According to NFL.com, he is a strong intelligent player who will work harder than anyone else if given a chance.

Many former Boise State players have stood out at the NFL Combine and are succeeding in the NFL, and these three are looking to join the list.
