DENVER -
The 17th-ranked Boise State gymnastics team fell to 21st-ranked Denver, 196.725-195.925, Saturday evening. The Broncos topped Iowa State, who scored 194.250 in the triangular meet held at Hamilton Gymnasium.


The Broncos earned scores of 49.025 on vault, 48.950 on bars, 48.725 on beam and 49.225 on floor in their final regular-season meet.

Junior Kelsey Morris earned the highest finishes for the Broncos, Saturday, placing second on the uneven bars, balance beam and in the all-around. Morris scored a 9.875 to garner runner-up honors on bars, while also scoring a 9.80 on beam and a 39.350 in the all-around.

Senior Kelsey Black also earned a runner-up title for the Broncos, tying for second on vault with a 9.875 score. Junior Ciera Perkins earned a fifth-place finish on vault (9.850), while adding a sixth-place finish on floor.

Denver's Moriah Martin captured the all-around title (39.425), as well as the vault title (9.90), while Jorie Hall won on balance beam (9.850) and Nina McGee (9.950) won on floor. Iowa State's Camille Santerre-Gervais won the bars title with a score of 9.90.

Boise State continues its season in one week at the inaugural Mountain Rim Gymnastics Championships hosted by Brigham Young University.
