COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (11/16/2015) - Boise State senior center Miquelle Askew has been named the first Mountain West Women's Basketball Player of the Week for 2015-16. The native of South Jordan, Utah, led Boise State to a 58-44 victory over Cal State Los Angeles on Friday in the season opener at Bronco Gym.

Askew's Highlights From Last Week

Led Boise State to a 14-point 58-44 victory over Cal State Los Angeles
Askew recorded team-highs for points and rebounds with 20 and eight, respectively, in 36 minutes of action.
It was Askew's sixth 20-point game in her career.
She shot 62.5 percent making 10-of-16 shots from the floor.
Askew went 5-of-7 from the floor in the first half for 10 points and grabbed two of her rebounds.
In the second half Askew went 5-of-9 from the floor for 10 points and tallied the final six boards.
