France Climbs Leaderboard in Arizona

GOODYEAR, Ariz. -- Boise State junior men's golfer Logan France fired a 5-under par 67 in the second round of the Desert Shootout in Goodyear, Ariz., Friday.
France notched six birdies total on the day at at the par-72, 7,015-yard Palm Valley Golf Course and will enter the final round tied for 14th place.
Boise State shot 282 (-6) as a team Friday, moving into a tie for seventh place with a two day total of 572 (-4). Kansas is in the lead with a two-round total of 550 (-26).
Rounding out the scoring for the Broncos were sophomore Kyle Mitsunaga (69, 73-- 142, -2), senior Ty Travis (75, 69-- 144, E), junior Shane Allor (74, 73-- 147, +3) and sophomore David Elliott (74, 74-- 148, +4).
