France Named MW Golfer of the Week

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Boise State junior Logan France was named Mountain West Men's Golfer of the Week following his performance at the Desert Shootout, March 19-21.
The award is the second of his career. He was also named co-golfer of the week last season following a third-place effort at the Thunderbird Invitational.
France carded a 7-under 209 at the Desert Shootout, a three-round tournament in Goodyear, Ariz. Included were back-to-back sub-par rounds to close the tournament. The 54-hole total was a career best, and his second-round 5-under 67 at the 7,015-yard Palm Valley Golf Course matched a career low.
France finished tied for 10th place at the tournament, recording 14 birdies during the three rounds.
The Golfer of the Week award is Boise State's first this season.
