This week's (Oct. 9-Oct. 15) nominees are:
Brian Humphreys (So. | Washougal, Wash.) - Men's Golf
Humphreys posted a runner-up finish at the Southern Dunes Invitational Saturday-Sunday, firing 10-under (66-71-69=206) with a tournament-high 16 birdies to earn the seventh top 10 finish of his career. Humphreys has now finished in the top 25 in each of Boise State's three tournaments this season.
Led by Humphreys' performance, Boise State finished third in the team standings, shooting a combined 866 (290-290-286, +2).

Allie Ostrander (R-Fr. | Kenai, Alaska) - Women's Cross Country
Ostrander extended her streak of top 10 cross country finishes to eight, and the Boise State women's cross country team finished fourth in an elite field at the Nuttycombe Wisconsin Invitational.
Ostrander fell before the midway mark of the 6-kilometer race to fall off the lead pack, but rallied to finish ninth in 20:00.2. The women's team entered the race as the seventh-highest ranked team, but ran as a group with all five scorers finishing in the same 56-second spread to finish fourth with 233 points.

Raimee Sherle (F | So. | Meridian, Idaho) - Women's Soccer
Sherle was sensational in Boise State's two matches this past weekend, scoring three goals as the Broncos secured four key away points to move into a tie for fourth on the Mountain West table. Sherle scored both goals in a 2-2 draw at Colorado State Friday, then tallied the first goal Sunday at Wyoming and assisted on McKenna Kynett's game-winner in the 62nd minute in the Broncos' 3-1 win. Her 10 goals on the season ranks second in the Mountain West.
Sherle makes a huge play here to earn the steal and then beat the keeper. The sophomore now has three goals on the weekend. #BleedBlue pic.twitter.com/Sc6hjzTSt9

Avery Williams (CB/PR/KR | R-Fr. | Pasadena, Calif.) - Football
Williams was named Mountain West Special Teams Player of the Week for the second time this season after sparking the Broncos' 31-14 win at No. 19/18 San Diego State Saturday night with a 53-yard punt return for a touchdown, his second such score of the season. It was a fine all-around performance for Williams Saturday night, as he averaged 28.5 yards over two punt returns and returned a kickoff 43 yards on special teams, and on defense he made six solo tackles and broke up a pass.
HE GONE!!! Avery Williams houses the punt from 53 yards to give Boise State the 7-0 lead! Punt return TD #2 for him this year! #BleedBlue pic.twitter.com/5TYqe6sJgR
