WHAT IS HAPPENING THIS WEEK
Boise State (12-10, 5-5 MW) is home for the first time in three weeks as they prepare to host UNLV (8-15, 4-6 MW) and New Mexico (11-12, 3-7 MW).
The Broncos open up the homestand with UNLV at 7:30 p.m. (Mountain) on Thursday, followed by an encounter with New Mexico at noon on Saturday.
Both contest will be in Bronco Gym and will be broadcast over the internet by the Mountain West Network.
LAST WEEK FOR THE BRONCOS
The Broncos wrapped up four straight road matches with a split last weekend falling in a heartbreaker at San Diego State 3-2, then regrouped to rally from one set down to defeat Fresno State 3-1.
Sierra Nobley led the Broncos on the week tallying 45 kills, four service aces and three block assists for 50.5 points.
Sabryn Roberts had back-to-back double-doubles on the week and recorded 27 kills, five service aces and eight blocks for 36.5 points.
Nobley had a team-high 22 kills at San Diego State followed by Roberts with 15 and 12 digs.
In the win at Fresno State, Nobley tallied a team-best 23 kills, Roberts added 12 kills and 10 digs, while Laney Hayes recorded a career-high 12 blocks to tie for second most in school history.
ABOUT UNLV
The Rebels enter the week at 8-15 overall and have a 4-6 league mark.
UNLV is coming off a home split last week falling to No. 20 Colorado State (3-0) before defeating Wyoming (3-2).
UNLV is averaging 10.8 kills per set (11th MW) while hitting 15.9 percent (10th MW) on the year ... the Rebels are holding opponents to 21.8 percent hitting (9th MW).
UNLV was picked to place seventh in the MW preseason poll after returning two starters and three letterwinners from last year's team.
This will be the 17th meeting in the all-time series which Boise State leads 11-5 ... the Broncos won 3-0 earlier this year in Las Vegas.
ABOUT NEW MEXICO
The Lobos enter the week at 11-12 overall and 3-7 in league play.
New Mexico is coming off of a pair of home defeats last week falling to Wyoming (3-1) and No. 20 Colorado State (3-2).
UNM is averaging 12.3 kills per set (7th MW) while hitting 20.9 percent (6th MW) as a team ... meanwhile, the Lobos hold opponents to 21.8 percent hitting (10th MW).
The Lobos were picked to place ninth in the 2017 MW race after returning three starters, the libero and seven letterwinners from last year's team.
This is the 14th meeting in the series which is led by New Mexico 8-5 ... Boise State has won four straight including the first meeting of the season 3-1 at Albuquerque.

Boise State leads the league in three statistical categories entering the week: kills per set at 13.96, total digs at 1,246 and digs per set at 15.38.
BOISE STATE TOP NCAA RANKINGS
The Broncos are ranked 29th in the NCAA for kills per set (13.96) and 31st for assists per set (13.11).
HEAD COACH Shawn Garus
Coach Garus is the reigning two-time MW Coach of the Year (2015 and 2016), as well as the 2016 AVCA Region Coach of the Year.
Garus is 263-236 overall in his 17-year career as a collegiate head coach, 2017 marks his 17th season.
Garus is currently 155-117 at Boise State in his ninth season.
Garus ranks second in total wins in program history, out of 10 coaches all-time.
Garus has recorded six winning seasons, three (2010, 2015-16) with 20-plus wins, in the first eight seasons at Boise State.
NOBLEY LEADS MW IN FOUR CATEGORIES
Sierra Nobley leads the MW in total kills at 328, kills per set at 4.82, total points 367.5 and points per set at 5.4.
Nobley has led the conference in kills and points per set for the last three years.
NOBLEY AMONG NCAA CAREER LEADERS
Sierra Nobley is currently ranked among the NCAA's top-6 for 2017's active players in four categories: third for career kills (1,795), third for kills per set (4.53), fourth for total attacks (4,614) and sixth for attacks per set (11.65).
OSBURN IN NCAA TOP-25 CAREER DIGS
Senior libero Maddi Osburn is currently ranked 21st among active 2017 NCAA players for career digs with 1,642.
NOBLEY CLOSING IN ON MW'S CAREER POINTS RECORD
Sierra Nobley entered 2017 with 1,642.0 points and ranked 17th in MW history, 423 short of tying the conference record of 2,065.
Nobley has added 367.5 points this season to give her 2,009.5 to pull into second-place, 55.5 short of tying the record and 56 short of breaking it.
