CONWAY, S.C. (AP) - Boise State (4-1) rallied back from a 24-point deficit in the second half to make it a four-point game (64-60) with 2:34 to play, but Iowa State (3-2) did just enough to sustain the lead and hang on for the 2017 Puerto Rico Tip-Off at Myrtle Beach title, winning by a score of 75-64.

Chris Sengfelder (20 points) and Lexus Williams (16 points) both recorded season highs in points, while Alex Hobbs chipped in 10 points to extend his double-digit scoring streak to five games. Dating back to last season, he has scored in double figures in nine of the last 11 games.

Iowa State's Nick Weiler-Babb had 10 points, seven rebounds and 11 assists to earn honors as the most valuable player. Sengfelder and Hutchison were also both named to the all-tournament team.

Boise State trailed 52-28 with 15:23 left but rallied with a flurry of second-half 3-pointers. They cut the deficit to four points on two occasions in the second half (2:34 and 1:38 remaining), but Iowa State's Donovan Jackson answered with a basket each time to push the Cyclone back to six and seven points, respectively.

The Broncos played most of the game without Hutchison, who left the game early in the first half.

''We had a choice,'' Boise State coach Leon Rice said. ''We could be victims and feel sorry for ourselves because we were down a soldier or we could step up and go compete and keep fighting them.''

The Broncos showed a ton of fight to get back in this one. Sengfelder hit four of Boise State's nine second-half 3-pointers, which allowed the Broncos to twice get within four before the Cyclones did just enough to hang on.

Boise State will now turn its attention to Loyola Marymount. The Broncos will host the Lions, Saturday, Nov. 25 at 7 p.m. back at Taco Bell Arena.
