BOISE, Idaho -- The Boise State men's basketball team defeated the College of Idaho 74-69 Thursday at Taco Bell Arena, the Broncos' only exhibition of the 2017-18 season.

Boise State was led by Chandler Hutchison, who scored 25 points and pulled down seven rebounds. Christian Sengfelder, a graduate transfer from Fordham, scored 15 points and pulled down eight rebounds. Alex Hobbs added 14 points.

The College of Idaho led 35-30 at halftime, but the Broncos outscored the Yotes 44-34 in the second half to pull away for the victory.

With 12 minutes, 44 seconds remaining in the second half, the Yotes' Justin Saunders knocked down a 3-pointer to give the College of Idaho a 48-44 lead. The Broncos went on an 11-0 run over the course of the next three-plus minutes, building a lead that they would not relinquish the rest of the way.

Boise State pushed its lead to as much as 12, ultimately closing out the College of Idaho.

The Broncos will open their 2017-18 regular season at home against Eastern Oregon, Nov. 10 (8 p.m.).
