BANDON, Ore. - Boise State finished 12th at the Bandon Dunes Championship Tuesday after the team shot a collective 8-over in the final round, finishing the event at 29-over.

The Broncos return to Oregon for its next action March 27-28 at the Duck Invitational in Eugene. It will also serve as the team's penultimate regular-season tournament ahead of the Mountain West Championships (April 21-23).

Tuesday, freshman Connor Johnstone was the top Bronco, firing a 1-under 71 on the Old MacDonald Course at the Bandon Dunes Golf Resort. Johnstone was also the top Bronco finisher on the individual leaderboard, finishing tied for 30th at 4-under.

Brian Humphreys carded an even-par 72 Tuesday to climb into a tie for 45th place at 7-over with teammate Donny Hopoi, who shot 3-over in the final round. Junior Tristan Rohrbaugh and freshman Mason Schulze each carded a 78 Tuesday, finishing the tournament at 14-over and 17-over, respectively.

"It was a great round for Connor today, and Brian was solid as well," said Boise State head coach Dan Potter. "We will learn from this week. There's a lot going on in this style of golf; more thinking, more patience and a broader skill set. We handled some aspects well but have plenty to improve upon."

Oregon finished its wire-to-wire run for the tournament title at 28-under (836), while Texas Tech's Hannes Ronneblad took medalist honors at 10-under.
