9/25/2017 12:00:00 AM | General
BOISE, Idaho - Boise State Athletics wants to get Bronco Nation involved in celebrating the performances of our student-athletes, so we are giving Bronco fans the chance to vote on the top Boise State performer each week!
Follow @BroncoSports on Twitter, and vote in our Twitter poll for your Boise State Athlete of the Week every Monday morning, and the occasional Tuesday morning, should a holiday fall on a Monday.
This week's (Sept. 18-24) nominees are:
Alejandra Lobelo (Fr. | Bogota, Colombia) - Women's Golf
Alejandra Bogota turned in the best freshman debut for a Boise State women's golfer since 2013 as she tied for 13th (219, +3) at the Ptarmigan Ram Classic (Sept. 17-19). The top 25 finish is the best debut for a freshman Boise State women's golfer since Genevieve Ling won the Bronco Fall Invitation (Sept. 16-17, 2013) in her debut.
Bogota made her moves on the par-3s on the host course, ranking fifth in the field in par-3 scoring (2.83).
