GEORGE TOWN, Cayman Islands (AP) –
Boise State shot 51.6 percent from the field (32-of-62), but Creighton was able to knock down 12 3-pointers and ultimately win the game, 94-82, Monday at John Gray Gymnasium in George Town, Cayman Islands.

The Bluejays' Ty-Shon Alexander hit four 3-pointers and finished with 18 points and Damien Jefferson scored 16 on 7-of-10 shooting.

The Broncos (1-2) scored the first six points and led 35-32 after Justinian Jessup hit a 3-pointer with 3:16 left in the first half. Marcus Zegarowski and Alexander made back-to-back 3s to spark a 14-6 run that gave Creighton (3-1) a five-point lead at the break. After BSU's Marcus Dickinson made a layup to open the second half, the Bluejays scored 10 in a row to make it 56-43 and led by at least nine points the rest of the way.

RJ Williams scored 27 points on 11-of-15 shooting (73.3%), grabbed nine rebounds and had three steals -- all season highs. The last time the Broncos had a player score 25 or more points and finish the game shooting above 70 percent was when Chandler Hutchison scored 44 points on 15-of-21 shooting (71.4%) at home against San Diego State (Jan. 13, 2018) last season.

Zach Haney scored a season-high 15 points to go with five rebounds. Jessup also tallied a season high with 15 points while Derrick Alston was the fourth Bronco in double figures with 11. Alston also pulled in eight rebounds – the second most on the team.

Creighton shot 57.9 percent (33 of 57) from the field, including 12 of 22 from 3-point range. The Broncos made just 4-of-15 3s.

The Broncos will now move to the left side of the bracket and take on St. Bonaventure tomorrow (Tuesday, Nov. 20) at 3 p.m. MT / 5 p.m. ET.
