BOISE, Idaho - USA TODAY released its All-State Girls Basketballl teams Tuesday, and a pair of incoming Boise State freshmen were among the honorees. Guard Maggie Freeman (Beaverton, Ore. / Southridge HS) was named to the All-USA Oregon Girls Basketball First Team, and guard Jade Loville (Sammamish, Wash. / Skyline HS) earned a spot on the All-USA Washington Girls Basketball Second Team.

Freeman and Loville each signed their National Letters of Intent with the Broncos in November, and will join the program to start the 2018-19 academic year, alongside 6-foot-3 post Rachel Bowers (Newhall, Calif. / Canyon HS).

Freeman, a 5-foot-11 guard, helped lead Southridge to its second-straight Oregon Class 6A title in 2017-18, averaging 14.7 points, 3.7 assists, and 2.4 steals per game during the season. In the state title game, Freeman, a four-star recruit according to Prospect Nation, scored 12 points in Southridge's 46-27 win over Benson on March 10. During her two seasons at Southridge, Freeman, a two-time All-Metro League selection, paced the Skyhawks to a 54-4 record, including a 28-1 mark this past season.

Loville, a three-star recruit according to ESPN, averaged 37.1 points and 8.8 rebounds per game and shot 45 percent from the field in 2017-18, also earning a spot on the All-KingCo 4A First Team. The 5-foot-10 guard's performance carried Skyline to just a game short of the 4A state regionals, as the Spartans fell to Eastlake in mid-February in a winner-to-regionals contest.

Bowers was named to the All-CIF Southern Section Division I Team in late March, after averaging a double-double of 16.1 points and 10.8 rebounds for Canyon High School in 2017-18. In addition to shooting 60 percent from the field, Bowers made her presence known on the defensive end, averaging 3.5 blocks per game, as she helped lead Canyon to the CIF Southern Section Division I quarterfinals.

The trio will join a Boise State program that went 23-10 overall (14-4 MW) in 2017-18, and swept the Mountain West regular-season and tournament titles while reaching the NCAA Tournament for the third time in four seasons.
