BOISE, Idaho -Â This Sunday's NFL Pro Bowl (1 p.m. MT, ESPN/ABC) will have a significant touch of Blue and Orange to it, as four former Broncos (three players, one coach) will be involved on the field and the sideline.
All four Broncos will be on the NFC squad for the contest at Camping World Stadium in Orlando. Defensive end DeMarcus Lawrence (Boise State, 2012-13) and linebacker Leighton Vander Esch (2015-17) of the Dallas Cowboys, and offensive tackle Charles Leno, Jr., (2010-13) of the Chicago Bears, will play in the game, while former Boise State signal-caller and current Dallas quarterbacks coach Kellen Moore (2008-11) will be on the sidelines as the Cowboys' coaching staff will run the NFC team.
Â
Lawrence was selected to his second-straight Pro Bowl after racking up 10.5 sacks, his second season in a row reaching double figures, along with 15 tackles-for-loss. He made 64 combined tackles on the year, also picking off a pass and forcing two fumbles.
Teaming with Lawrence on a fearsome Cowboys defensive unit was Vander Esch, the 2018 first-rounder who made an immediate impact in the league. The Riggins, Idaho, native finished third in the NFL with 140 combined tackles (102 solo) and added a pair of interceptions to his stats in 2018. Vander Esch was added to the NFC roster on Jan. 15 as an injury replacement for Carolina's Luke Kuechly.
Leno was added to the NFC roster Tuesday, marking his first Pro Bowl appearance. One of eight Chicago players either selected or added to the Pro Bowl, Leno's streak of 61 consecutive starts is the longest by a Bears left tackle since 2000.
Â
Boise State has now had seven alumni earn a combined 12 selections to the NFL Pro Bowl.
