BOISE, Idaho - Boise State women's basketball, Mountain West double champions for the second-straight season, drew a 13 seed and will face No. 4 seed and host Oregon State (24-7) in the first round of the NCAA Tournament Saturday, March 23, on ESPN2 at approximately 3:30 p.m. MT at Gill Coliseum in Corvallis.

No. 5 seed Gonzaga and No. 12 seed Little Rock will play in Saturday's first game at 1:30 p.m. MT (12:30 p.m. PT).

The Broncos (28-4) will be making their third-straight NCAA Tournament appearance, and sixth all-time (1994, 2007, 2015, 2017-19). Boise State earned this season's trip by claiming the Mountain West Tournament title and the conference's auto-bid with a 68-51 victory over Wyoming last Wednesday in Las Vegas. Boise State's 28 victories this season are also a program record, eclipsing the 2016-17 team's 25 wins.

Boise State and Oregon State have met 14 times prior to this weekend's opening-round game, with the Beavers holding a 9-5 edge in the series. The last meeting between the programs was two decades ago, when Oregon State defeated the Broncos, 66-55, on Dec. 31, 2000, in Corvallis.

Saturday's contest will also mark the third time in six NCAA Tournament appearances that the Broncos have played a true away opening-round game against a Pac-12 opponent (1994 at Washington, 2017 at UCLA).

The Broncos are led by the play of All-Mountain West selection and Mountain West Tournament MVP Braydey Hodgins, along with fellow All-Mountain West and All-Tournament Team selection Riley Lupfer. Hodgins averaged 23.3 points with FG/3FG/FT percentages of 61.1/42.1/94.7 over Boise State's 3-0 run at the tournament, including a tournament-record 37-point performance in the quarterfinal win over Nevada. For the season, Hodgins leads the Broncos with 13.4 points per game with FG/3FG/FT percentages of 46.4/41.9/82.0.

Lupfer, despite missing four games during the conference season, is second on the team with 11.0 points a game and 64 3-pointers. Senior guard Marta Hermida is enjoying a career year, averaging 10.3 points a game with career-best shooting percentages of 42.2 from the floor, 36.8 from 3-point range, and 83.9 from the line. The Madrid, Spain, native was named to the Mountain West All-Tournament Team after averaging 14.0 points, 5.7 rebounds, and 4.00 assists per game.

Redshirt junior point guard Jayde Christopher leads the Broncos with 176 assists (5.50 per game) and has been key to the Broncos shooting 44.4 percent from the field. Forwards A'Shanti Coleman (9.8 ppg, 4.3 rpg, 52.4 field-goal percentage) and Joyce Harrell (6.5 ppg, 5.7 rpg, 46.2 field-goal percentage) have been key to the Broncos' inside game all season.

Oregon State is led by the play of guards Destiny Slocum (16.0 ppg, 66 3-pointers) and Mikayla Pivec (14.9 ppg, 9.1 rpg). The Beavers finished third in the Pac-12 before bowing out of the Pac-12 Tournament to No. 11 seed Washington, 68-67, in the quarterfinals.
