AZUSA, Calif. – The Boise State track and field teams concluded the second day of their weekend, Thursday in Southern California.

The Broncos were primarily represented by the distance runners racing the 5,000-meter at the Bryan Clay Invitational and Mutlis. Addison Dehaven posted the fastest time on the men's side, taking 11th in the second fastest heat in 14:01.21. On the women's side, Maxine Paholek ran 16:23.89 in the fastest section of the event to lead the Broncos. Her time was a new outdoor best by roughly 40 seconds.

In all, four athletes set new personal bests in the 5,000-meter on Thursday — Paholek, Claire Graves, Olivia Johnson, Kyra Lopez.

Competing at the Pacific Coast Intercollegiate in nearby Long Beach, Calif., Amber Mallet set a new season best in the women's pole vault. She cleared 11'-9.75" (3.60m) to take 11th.

To round out the day, Kendra Noneman was sixth in her flight of the women's hammer at the Mt. SAC Relays. The junior finished just off of her personal best, throwing 184'8" (56.29m).

Boise State will close out the weekend on Friday. The majority of the team will compete at the Bryan Clay Invitational and Multis, while Noneman will again compete in the hammer — this time at the Beach Invitational in Long Beach.
