2018-19: INDOOR- Opened the season with an indoor personal best in the pole vault, clearing 11-7.75 (3.55m) to take third (Dec. 8) . . . matched her PR by clearing 11-7.75 (3.55m) at the New Mexico Team Invite (Jan. 26) . . . cleared 10-11.75 (5.53m) in the pole vault at the Jacksons/Nike Boise Indoor Invite (Feb. 1-2) . . . cleared 11-6.25 (3.51m) in the pole at the Bronco Challenge to finish in fourth place (Feb. 9) . . . appeared at the Mountain West Championships (Feb. 21-23) . . . 2017-18: INDOOR- Established a new personal best at the Mountain West Championship, vaulting 11-7 (3.53) to take 11th . . . set a personal best by clearing 11-6.25 (3.51m) in the pole vault at the Boise State Challenge (Feb. 10) . . . finished third in the pole vault after clearing 10-11.75 (3.35m) at the Jacksons Nike Boise Indoor Invite (Feb. 2-3) . . . took second at the Bronco Invitational (Jan. 20) in a lifetime best 11-5.75(3.50m) . . . set a personal best of 10-10 (3.30m) in the pole vault at the Ed Jacoby Invitational (Jan. 12-13) to finish second . . . opened the season at the Jacksons Open with a then personal best vault of 10-8 (3.25m) in a third-place effort . . . OUTDOOR- Competed in the pole vault at five meets on the season, continuing her impressive breakthrough from the indoor season . . . set a new personal best of 12-2 (3.71m) at the Mountain West Championship, taking 10th (May 9-12) . . . opened the season with an eighth-place finish at the Stanford Invitational (March 30-31), vaulting 10-11.75 (3.35m) . . . finished fourth at the Sun Angel Classic (April 5-7), vaulting a then personal best of 11-7.75 (3.55m) . . . again set a new best of 11-8 (3.56m) at the Bryan Clay Invitational (April 27-28) . . .cleared the 12-foot mark for the first time at the Border Clash, vaulting 12-0 (3.66m) in a runner-up effort (May 9-12).
2016-17: INDOOR – Specialized in the pole vault in her first season as a Bronco…opened the year with a 9-10 (3.00m) to take third at the Ed Jacoby Invitational…posted her indoor season PR at the Bronco Invitational, clearing 10-6 (3.20m)…went 10-0 (3.05m) at the Jacksons/NB Invitational for eighth place…got back to her season-best mark of 10-6 (3.20m) at the Boise State Challenge…OUTDOOR – Competed at the Mountain West Outdoor Track and Field Championships and took 13th place with a career-best 11-1.5 (3.39m)…best finish of the year came at the Border Clash when she was second thanks to a 10-11.75 (3.35m)…kicked off the outdoor season at the Bryan Clay Invitational, clearing 9-10.75 (3.02m) . . . Cleared 11-6.25 (3.51m) in the pole at the Bronco Challenge to finish in fourth place (Feb. 9).
HIGH SCHOOL CAREER
Amber Mallet was outstanding as a pole vaulter for Couer d’Alene High School, taking fourth place in the Idaho 5A State Championships after clearing 10-6. Her career-best mark of 11-0 came in the season opener of senior campaign, the Sweeney Invitational (March 12). She also logged another top-10 finish at the state championships as a junior, taking seventh place (10-0).
