Final Leaderboard

Tara Finigan led the women's golf team with a top 10 finish, as the Broncos shot their lowest round of the week on Tuesday

MARICOPA, Ariz. – The Boise State women's golf team rose to eighth place on Tuesday to conclude the Wyoming Cowgirl Classic. The Broncos shot 897 (303-299-295, +33), and finished second in the tournament in par-4 scoring with an average of 4.19 strokes.

Senior Tara Finigan finished in the top ten in a tie for sixth, and posted a score of 215 (70-69-76, -1) She made her moves on the course's par-5s, finishing in a tie for second in the field with an average of 4.75 strokes.

Lexi Perry continued her upward push of the leaderboard and ended the day in a tie for 27th place, one stroke back of the top 25. The sophomore concluded the tournament with her best round, finishing the week with a 225 (78-74-73, +9).

Nicole Suppelsa posted a seven-stroke improvement on the day, and finished with a score of 227 (80-77-70, +11). She finished in a tie for 38th.

Cora Mickelsen finished with a score of 228 (75-79-76, +14) and in a tie for 56th place. Valentine Lacaze rounded out the lineup for the Broncos with a score of 242 (81-81-80, +26) and finished in a tie for 95th place.

The Broncos will hit the course next week at the Mountain West Championships, April 15-17, in Rancho Mirage, Calif.
