BOISE, Idaho – The Boise State football team will host its annual Fall Fan Fest Saturday, Aug. 24. A first look at the 2019 edition of Bronco Football is scheduled to begin at 2 p.m. at Albertsons Stadium, but there will be plenty more going on surrounding the stadium before and after the event.
The Ford Tailgate Zone at DeChevrieux Field will open at 11:30 a.m., providing fans a preview of what will be offered throughout the 2019 season. Tailgate games, an inflatable area, Bronco Girl (and her horse, Blue), food trucks and more will be on hand for the Fall Fan Fest.
Additionally, for what might be the final opportunity, pieces of The Blue will be on sale at DeChevrieux Field. The turf will be sold in square-foot sections for $39.95, and there will be 500 pieces available. Fans can purchase a maximum of five pieces.
Albertsons Stadium gates (A, D & N/P) will open at 1 p.m., and parking and admission to the stadium is free. Buster Bronco, the spirit squad and marketing staff will distribute 2019 schedule posters at each of the gates.
Following the conclusion of the open practice, fans will have access to The Blue, where coaches, student-athletes, the spirit squad, Buster and Bronco Girl will be available for photos and autographs.
The Athletic Ticket Office will open at 11:30 a.m., as fans will have an opportunity to test drive available seats for the upcoming season and purchase on the spot. Event Rent will also be on hand, showcasing tailgating options for the 2019 season.
Additionally, the Broncos' volleyball team will host its intrasquad scrimmage beginning at 11 a.m. in Bronco Gym.
Season tickets and the wildly-popular Blue Collar Pass are on sale now, and can be purchased at BroncoSports.com/tickets, or by calling the Athletic Ticket Office at (208) 426-4737.
The Blue Collar Pass includes each of the Broncos' 2019 home football games for just $180. Seat locations will be assigned in one of Albertsons Stadium's reserved sections, and tickets will be delivered via e-mail 48 hours prior to kick, allowing purchasers to experience the world-famous blue turf from a new perspective every week.
Season ticket holders from this upcoming season will have the first opportunity to reserve their seat or upgrade in 2020, when a seven-game home schedule features nonconference games against BYU, Florida State and Georgia Southern, and MW match-ups with Colorado State, San Jose State, UNLV and Utah State.
The Broncos are coming off another 10-win season, the program's 16th since joining what is now known as the Football Bowl Subdivision in 1996. The total is the second-highest in the country during that time (Ohio State, 18). Boise State also concluded the 2018 season ranked in both the Associated Press (No. 23) and Coaches (No. 24) Polls.
Boise State is the winningest team in the country since 2000 (207-41; .835), and the Broncos' record at home since 2000 is also the nation's best (113-9; .926).
