BOISE, Idaho – Boise State women's basketball head coach Gordy Presnell announced the signings of Trista Hull (Yakima, Wash. / La Salle HS) and Linsey Lovrovich (Gig Harbor, Wash. / Peninsula HS) to National Letters-of-Intent Thursday.
The pair will join a Bronco program which has won five of the past six Mountain West Tournament titles, including a present run of four-straight (2017-20), two regular-season titles (2018-19), and qualified for five NCAA Tournaments (2015, 2017-20) during that span.
Hull, a 6'2 forward, is a two-time Associated Press 1A All-State selection (2019-20) who averaged 14.6 points per game last season. That performance helped lead La Salle to a fifth-place finish at the state 1A Hardwood Classic, and led to Hull being named to the All-Tournament Team.
In 2018-19, Hull helped lead the Lightning to a third-place finish at the state tournament, being named the tournament MVP by Eli Sports Network (ESN). Hull averaged 17.5 points per game on the year, earning a spot on the AP 1A All-State Team.
"Trista is a long, skilled trail post, and the No. 2-ranked player in Washington," Presnell said. "We are so excited she has decided to bring her talents to Boise State. She will be a great addition."
Lovrovich, a 5'9 guard, was a two-sport athlete at Peninsula High School, starring in volleyball in addition to basketball. On the hardwood, Lovrovich, a three-year member of the varsity team, averaged 16.9 points, 5.4 rebounds, and 3.2 assists per game in 2019-20, a performance for which she was named to the All-South Sound Conference First Team.
Her efforts helped the Seahawks go 9-5 in SSC play, earning a berth in the 3A regional playoffs.
That followed a breakout sophomore season in 2018-19 in which she averaged 14.5 points and 5.2 rebounds a game, and was named to the All-SSC Second Team.
"We are excited that Linsey will become a Bronco. She is an excellent athlete who will excel in our up-tempo style of play," Presnell noted.
