BOISE, Idaho – Senior wide receiver CT Thomas was named to the Earl Campbell Tyler Rose Award Watch List, announced Wednesday morning.

The award, which honors the legacy of Texas legend and Pro Football Hall of Famer Earl Campbell, is given annually to college football's top performer who meets any of the following criteria: born in Texas, and/or played football at a Texas high school, junior college, and/or university.

Thomas, who was born in Dallas and grew up in Lancaster, Texas, where he starred for Lancaster High, finished the 2019 campaign with 41 catches for 522 yards and five touchdowns. On the year, Thomas found the end zone six times, also carrying for a score as he rushed twice for 22 yards in 2019.

The Lancaster native posted a pair of 100-yard receiving games last year, opening the season with 103 yards on five receptions in Boise State's 36-31 win at Florida State. He then racked up 119 yards and a touchdown over five catches Sept 20 against Air Force, with a two-touchdown performance against Portland State on Sept. 14 sandwiched in between.

Over his three years at Boise State, Thomas has caught 97 balls for 1,178 yards and eight touchdowns, while averaging 12.1 yards per reception.
