Kaniho Named Freshman of the Week

BOISE, Idaho – Boise State cornerback Kaonohi Kaniho was named the Mountain West Freshman of the Week, the conference announced, Monday, following his performance in Saturday's 26-17 upset over BYU.
Kaniho notched his first-career interception on the Cougars' final drive, sealing the victory for the Broncos.
The Kahuku, Hawaii native also made five tackles, including two on third down stops, and one pass break-up.
Next, Boise State (3-3, 1-1 MW) returns to The Blue to face Air Force (5-1, 2-1 MW) Saturday at 7 p.m. MT on FS1.
