Broncos Add Northern California Player of the Year

BOISE, Idaho – Natalie Pasco signed a National Letter of Intent to play women's basketball at Boise State beginning fall 2022, head coach Gordy Presnell announced, Thursday.
The 5-foot-10 guard/forward was the San Jose Mercury News and San Francisco Chronicle 2021 Bay Area Girls Basketball Player of the Year. A native of Danville, Calif., she led San Ramon Valley High School to a perfect record and a No. 4 ranking in the Bay Area according to The Chronicle.
Pasco averaged a double-double with 28.3 points and 13.0 rebounds per outing and earned SBLive's North Coast Section Player of the Year Award. As a sophomore, she averaged 15 points and 10 rebounds on a team that won the CIF-NCS Division 1 title.
Her club team, the Cal Stars captured the 2021 Nike National Tournament championship in July. Former Bronco Mallory McGwire and current Boise State sophomore Abby Muse also played for the Cal Stars.
"Natalie is a terrific scorer and an even better person," Presnell said. "She is the Northern California Player of the Year and a top 100 recruit. We are looking forward to her being part of our program."
Pasco joins a class that includes guards Dani Bayes (Brisbane, Queensland, Australia) and Tatum Thompson (Woodinville, Wash.).
"Overall, we filled the need of getting longer wings that are athletic and can shoot the three consistently," Presnell added. "This may very well be the best class we have ever signed at Boise State. I am confident they are going to do some great things as Broncos."
