BOISE, Idaho – For the second-consecutive week and the third time this season, Boise State sophomore kick Jonah Dalmas was named a Lou Groza "Star of the Week." The accolade follows his flawless kicking performance in Friday's win over Wyoming on The Blue.

College football's top kicking award, the Palm Beach County Sports Commission Lou Groza Collegiate Place-Kicker Award presented by the Orange Bowl recognizes three top kickers each week from FBS division teams as the "Stars of the Week."

Dalmas was 3-for-3 on field goal attempts in the Broncos' 23-13 victory over the Cowboys (Nov. 12), including a 43-yard field goal as time expired in the first half, giving the Blue and Orange a lead they did not relinquish.

The Lou Groza Award semifinalist also made a 38 and 29-yard attempt and two PAT.

Dalmas has now made 14-straight field goals, the fourth-longest active streak nationally. He ranks second nationally in field goals per game (2.20) in 2021 and is tied for 12th nationally in scoring (9.9 points per game).

His field goal percentage of .917 (22-of-24) ranks him ninth nationally and his career field goal percentage of .906 (29-of-32) leads all active kickers in the country.

The Meridian, Idaho native previously notched "Star of the Week" honors after his performances in week two (UTEP) and week 10 (Fresno State).

Next, Boise State (6-4, 4-2 MW) celebrates senior day against New Mexico on The Blue, Saturday at 7 p.m. MT on FS1.
