Boise State travels to Carson, Calif., to face No. 22 San Diego State in a game with Mountain West title implications.

THE SERIES
The Aztecs are the only school in the Mountain West that the Broncos do not have a winning record against, with Boise State and San Diego State each boasting three wins in the all-time series. The Broncos are 2-1 when playing the Aztecs on the road, and knocked off SDSU, Oct. 14, 2017 (31-14), in the only previous meeting in which the Aztecs were ranked.

THE GAME
The Boise State football team will close out the 2021 regular season on the road against San Diego State, Friday (Nov. 26) in Carson, Calif. The Aztecs, ranked No. 22 in both the
AP and Coaches Polls, are the fourth ranked opponent the Broncos have faced in 2021. Boise State and San Diego State are slated to kick at 10 a.m. MT at Dignity Health Sports Park, and the game will be nationally televised on CBS.

BIG CBS
The Broncos' meeting with the Aztecs is the second Boise State game scheduled for broadcast on CBS in 2021, and just the third in school history. Boise State's Mountain West opener against Utah State earlier this season was the first on CBS since the Broncos defeated Fresno State in the 2014 Mountain West Championship (Dec. 6).

TOUGHEST SCHEDULES
The Broncos' opposition, including San Diego State, has posted a combined record of 82-39 (.678) through the 2021 season, tied for the highest winning percentage among opponent schedules in the country (Indiana). Through the first 11 games of the season, Boise State opponents have gone 72-38 (.655), the third-highest winning percentage nationally. Only Navy (70-30; .700) and Indiana (75-35; .682) have faced a more difficult schedule. Of the Broncos' seven wins, five have come over bowl-eligible teams, tied with Alabama, Notre Dame and Ole Miss for the second-most nationally. Only Georgia (eight) has more. Each of the Broncos' four losses have also come at the hands of teams that have already reached bowl eligibility – UCF, Oklahoma State, Nevada and Air Force. Including SDSU, the Broncos will have faced 10 bowl-eligible teams during the 2021 regular season, more than any other school in the country.

BOWL ELIGIBILITY
Boise State has achieved bowl-eligible status for the 24th-consecutive season, the third-longest active streak in the country. The Broncos trail only Ohio State (33) and Georgia (25) on the current list, and each has already extended its streak this season (which is reflected in the numbers). Entering 2021, Boise State was one of only 16 schools nationally to carry a streak of at least 10-consecutive seasons of reaching bowl eligibility into the season. That list also included the aforementioned schools and Clemson (22), Oklahoma (22), LSU (21), Wisconsin (19), Alabama (17), Oklahoma State (15), Miami (13), Ohio (12), Stanford (12), Texas A&M (12), San Diego State (11), Toledo (11) and Washington (11).
